Located in Norwalk, Intercommunity Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center provides excellence in rehabilitation and nursing services in a setting designed to optimize resident outcomes. Our guiding principle is that quality healthcare is best achieved when we work together.

Our dedicated sub-acute care unit consists of 30 beds designed exclusively for patients requiring nursing care and respiratory therapy services for tracheostomy, cool-aerosol and ventilator support.

Our geriatric rehabilitation program helps people with a recent decline in ability to regain their previous status. Our facility’s team is experienced in working with people recovering from a comprehensive range of medical/rehabilitation conditions including: orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary and post-surgical events. We have highly qualified licensed therapists and state-of-the-art equipment and treatment techniques. We believe that through the dynamic intervention of our rehab team, we can help to optimize each patient’s return to their highest functional level.
