More than thirty years ago, we realized our dream to build a nursing home on Long Island which would provide the ultimate in quality care for our parents and grandparents. Our Board of Directors mandated that we take a leadership role, be at the forefront of creativity and innovation and set the standard for all nursing homes and senior communities. In doing so, we have expanded from our original vision of a community nursing home and have created a full continuum of care, including skilled nursing care, world-class rehabilitation center, a renowned assisted living community, outstanding home care programs and an award-winning adult day health program. We are also announcing plans for our brand new independent living community. We are so much more than the typical Long Island retirement community, because we are not really a retirement community. Our level of nursing and rehabilitation care set us apart from the rest.
