Description

Our journey of caring for the poor and the powerless started in 1946 with St. Benedict’s Home for the Aged, sponsored by the Benedictine Sisters of Annunciation Priory, Bismarck, ND. In 1969, the nursing home changed owners, was moved to the current location, and renamed Dickinson Nursing Center. After changing ownership a few times in the next several years, the nursing center returned to non-profit Benedictine Sponsorship in 1989 by the Sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery, Duluth, Minn., and renamed St. Benedict’s Health Center.
