The Board of Directors has been selected from our local, hard working leaders of this ranching community. Our first Director of Nursing, Joyce Humiston, comes from one of these ranching families.

Joyce is the third of five daughters. With no brothers to do the ranching, Joyce and her sisters learned confidence as ranch hands. She also was confident in leaving this beautiful Mancos Valley to pursue a career in nursing. Joyce values the certified nursing assistants that work for our residents… because she was one. As she worked in a group of family owned long term care facilities in West Central Indiana, Joyce continued her education to become a Registered Nurse. She was valued by her employers and took on responsibilities from Charge Nurse to Assistant Director of Nursing.
