In recognition of the Mercy Occupational Health Clinic that opened on our campus last year, Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve is this year’s recipient of Leading Age Ohio’s Excellence in Service Award. This award recognizes our willingness to pursue an enhanced quality of life for our employees and a great leadership initiative for our campus. Staff recently received the award at the Leading Age Ohio Annual Conference and Trade show in Columbus.

After nearly four years of planning, the Occupational Health Clinic opened in the newly renovated area of our campus that was the former resident neighborhood called Sunshine Lane. Charlie Rinne, CEO sought a low-cost means to provide basic healthcare services to a large population of our staff. In addition, it provides new hire physicals, toxicity screenings and the treatment of minor work injuries for our employees and employees from other businesses in the surrounding area. Leasing the space to the Mercy Health System generates additional revenue for our campus and increases our visibility in the community.
