At Independence House we work actively with clients and caregivers to find and maintain the proper level of care for each individual.

For this reason, we offer skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living and rehabilitation care at our Independence Road campus.

History
Independence House was established in 1991. This beautiful facility has long been synonymous with quality care, and this reputation is being continually enhanced through awards and honors, an array of activities and professional culinary services.

Pool and Spa Make a Big Splash for Rehabilitation and Recreation
Both residents in the Independence Place apartments and Independence House long-term care enjoy the swimming pool and spa in the 3,900 square-foot rehabilitation wing. The warm waters of both the spa and the pool are therapeutic for those with arthritis and Parkinson’s disease.

The pool is also scheduled three times a week for outpatient use, and is used in the therapy program.

The exercise area is likewise popular both for therapy and individual fitness. Both residents of the apartments and the long-term care wings are active in the exercise area.

On our campus, residents are viewed as clients. We believe it is our responsibility to respond to each client's individual needs for assistance and rehabilitation. In some cases, this includes returning home.
