Fairfax Place is a family-owned and operated skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility that has served the greater Cleveland area for over 40 years. This 100-bed, Medicare/Medicaid certified facility is home to a team of Cleveland Clinic geriatricians, led by Dr. Barbara Messinger-Rapport, MD, PhD. We offer a variety of services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, short/long term stays, respite, and hospice care. Fairfax currently holds a 5-star rating with CMS.

The vision of our founders, Melvin and Ethel Pye, stands to serve the physical and socio-economic needs of the community. Since its early days Fairfax Place has cared for an array of residents from community leaders and judges, to those who have little to no support. We have even provided care for those who do not have a home.

In addition to attending to the various psycho-social needs of the community, Fairfax has also attended to medically challenging residents who needed extensive care following their stay at an acute care hospital.
