Welcome to Lafon Nursing Facility of the Holy Family ("Lafon"), one of the oldest nursing homes in the United States. Lafon Nursing Facility of the Holy Family is operated under the auspices of the Sisters of the Holy Family. Since 1842, the Sisters of the Holy Family have provided a loving environment which respects the dignity of individuals, while rendering quality nursing care. We believe that team work and respect for our residents, employees and all others we meet in the workplace are fundamental to achieving quality care. Providing quality resident care is our most important priority at Lafon Nursing Facility. We take pride in creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere in dealing with our residents, their families, friends and co-workers.

We encourage families to visit the Facility and meet with the Administrator and experience our warm and caring atmosphere by participating in a scheduled tour and our pre-admission procedures.
