Under sponsorship from the Odd Fellowship of North America, the Holgate Community has been providing a continuum of care for over 100 years. Ours is a not-for-profit campus located in a beautiful neighborhood in SE Portland, and we provide a complete range of living options to match the lifestyles and individual needs of seniors. We offer independent living in the Odd Fellows Retirement Home, low-income independent apartments for seniors at Kenilworth Park Plaza, and state of the art medical & rehabilitative services in combination with skilled nursing care at our Friendship Health Center. Seniors and their families will find our care and services are centered around our residents’ needs. By listening to those we serve, we are proud to provide a model community for seniors that they can call home.

About The Odd Fellows
Thomas Wildey, founder of Odd Fellowship in North America, was a man of immense vitality, humor, and warmth. Born in London and left an orphan, he took his childhood experiences to later establish the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, dedicating the Order to achieve philanthropic goals. “Educate the orphan, care for the sick, and bury the dead” were the cornerstones of his vision. The order has grown immensely over the past two hundred years, carrying out his vision and championing the ideals of Friendship, Love, and Truth. There are over 75 nursing facilities throughout North America that are operated by the Independent Order of Oddfellows making it an important and influential part of today’s health care continuum.
