Ave Maria Village is recognized as a leading provider of long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services in southeast North Dakota. We are a not-for-profit, faith-based skilled care provider, sponsored by the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation. Ave Maria Village serves individuals of all faiths. We have 100 licensed skilled beds, ten of which are in private transitional care suites, specifically for patients who come to us for short-term therapy and/or recovery. Ave Maria Village has daily, on-site physical, occupational and speech therapy professionals. In all, we have a skilled professional team of over 180, including a full-time chaplain. Ave Maria Village is certified for participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs, is licensed by the North Dakota State Department of Health, and is a contracting facility with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). We also have formal relationships with three regional hospice providers. Ave Maria Village also manages an adjacent 58-unit licensed assisted living facility, Heritage Centre of Jamestown.
