Columbus Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility opened in 1965. In 1987, the 100 hall was added, and in 1995 the 500 hall was added. A number of private rooms became available with these additions. The facility added a rehab/physical therapy gym in 2005. Today the skilled nursing facility is certified for 137 beds including private suites, private Medicare suites, 4 dining rooms, a physical therapy gym, a beauty salon, and a memory care unit. Columbus Oaks employs 110 staff members and is the premiere nursing center in Columbus, Texas.
